Our Associate program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This is a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in-office experience for approximately 3-days a week.
Associate Expectations:
All Associates are expected to work 24-30 hours a week during the session. While each Associate will be working with a specific division, they will have the opportunity to learn about other areas within Excel, through lunch and learns held throughout the semester.
Important Dates:
Our Fall Program runs from Monday, September 11, 2023, through December 2023.
Office Hours:
- 9:00 am-6:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor. Days in office must be coordinated with Advisor’s schedules.
Our Associates must:
- Be available to work 24-30 hours per week.
- Be available to report to the New York Location approximately 3-days a week.
- Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad)
OR
- Be enrolled in a graduate school
OR
- Have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.
Interview Process:
- Applications will close on Friday, July 21st at 8pm ET.
- The interview process can begin before the application close date of July 21st.
- If selected, offers will be extended to candidates on or prior to the week of August 7th.
- The program will begin on September 11th.
Design Associate Expectations:
- Assist to develop and execute innovative and impactful creative strategies and campaigns to enhance the brand image and visibility of our clients within the sports industry.
- You will work closely with our marketing, branding, and client management teams to deliver compelling and visually appealing content that captures the essence of our clients’ unique stories and accomplishments.
- Will assist the Creative Department with research and brainstorms that results in compelling creative assets for a variety of divisions and clients.
- Will assist with tracking multiple projects across several divisions
- Will gain exposure to coordinating talent from many disciplines
- Will learn how to identify and exceed client expectations through effective communication.
- Will learn valuable insights about the creative process in a highly competitive market.
- Will learn how to build and maintain positive client relationships that result in enhanced partnerships and increased opportunities.
- Will develop a real-world understanding of how to apply strict brand standards that result in impactful assets for blue chip companies.
- Will be exposed to Adobe professionals who can provide real-world workflow and app insights.
- Will support teammates across the group to ensure flawless client-service and a second-to-none agency experience.
- Will have access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings.
The pay for this position is: $15.00 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the California and New York City Salary Transparency Law.
