Description
ACES Mill Road School in North Haven, CT, is seeking a full-time Family Consumer Science Teacher. Mill Road School serves students in grades k-8 with social, emotional and behavioral needs.
We are looking for candidates who want to inspire students to learn basic skills including baking, basic food preparation, nutrition, and proper safety & sanitation.
Must have a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students in the program and throughout the school community.
The FCS Teacher will set instructional objectives, prepare lessons, as wells as plan and implement supporting activities that will tie into the curriculum. The instructor must have the ability to communicate learning goals, classroom expectations, and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Connecticut teacher certification (045) Home Economics PK-12
