JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a well-known Family Law Firm with an excellent reputation, is seeking a skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join their legal team in Houston. As a mid-level attorney, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of family law cases and contribute to the success of the Firm. This is an onsite position that offers a challenging and rewarding career path within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
– Handle all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, adoption, and domestic violence matters.
– Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
– Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
– Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and negotiations.
– Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage caseloads.
– Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns.
– Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice tailored to their individual circumstances.
Requirements:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
– Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing (desired requirement).
– 3-5 years of experience practicing family law.
– Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
– Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
– Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
– Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal document preparation.
– Ability to maintain client confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
– Litigation spirit, with a passion for representing clients in court.
