This role is a part of the newly created North America Commercial Analytics team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling robust business performance. The Marketing and Media Effectiveness (MME) team is a strategic part of our 2025 vision and will enable a step change in driving Colgate Palmolive’s ability to leverage data as a strategic asset. Innovation Analytics is a major area of the MME charter.
In this role you will support and enable the MME roadmap. You will establish, own and manage our Innovation Analytics capabilities. For this role, you will need to understand Advanced Analytics methodologies, and be aware of the major tools commonly used for Innovation Analytics. You must have strong analytical skills and the ability to connect the dots between various data sources. You must be comfortable communicating with senior management.
What you will do
- Own and lead the Innovation Analytics capabilities for the organization
- Work with the head of Marketing and Media Effectiveness (MME) Analytics to set up a framework for Innovation measurement, and identify Analytics vendors
- Manage the relationships with identified Analytics vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the Innovation Analytics agenda
- Work closely with Analytics agency, vetting early outputs, developing hypotheses and working out implications for the business
- Extensively analyze multiple data sources to create meta learning about the historical performance and trends for Innovation at Colgate-Palmolive
- Maintain solid partnerships between commercial, brand, insights and agency teams to ensure Innovation analytics is effectively embedded in decision making.
- Existing familiarity with Syndicated, POS, Scanner and Media data streams. Understanding of major Insights Innovation tools (such as BASES Quick Predict) and portfolio optimization tools (ie: Nielsen Shelf Optimizer, Kantar Rich Mix or Hendry models) preferred
- Improve forecasting of new items and incrementality to overall Portfolio
- Gain knowledge of our product categories and brands from multiple sources
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience, with deep experience in marketing analytics and/or data sciences
- Strong knowledge of advanced analytic methods and modeling techniques, including methodologies and approaches used for Innovation Analytics
- Understanding of Point of sale data, major Syndicated data sources, Panel, Financial and Media data
- Not afraid to be hands on with extracting and analyzing the data
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build partnerships and influence stakeholders and decision making
- Strong leadership skills and communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact and diplomacy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or any related field is required
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or MS in quantitative field preferred

Salary Range $100,000 – $164,850 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
