POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides leadership and direction on training for Family Support Programs. This includes delivering and advising on Family Resource Center Pathways Model Training, Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Training, and Parents for Parents (P4P) Training.
Our Family Support Programs deliver high quality services to keep families together, improve family well-being, and create equity. This position collaborates with staff and community partners across the state to support professional development in alignment with business objectives, compliance requirements, strategics plans, and state requirements.
The Family Support Training Manager has access to protected healthcare information (PHI) and confidential identifiable information (CII), both paper and electronic, as necessary, to perform related job duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Creates and provides consultation on training implementation plans and training content
- Facilitates Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening & Support Certification Trainings and other Family Support trainings
- Delivers training through various formats including group discussion, webinars, and videos
- Collaborates with the National Family Support Network (NFSN) and Washington Family Support Network (WFSN) to plan and promote Standards trainings
- Participates in professional development activities such as certification trainings, conferences, and communities of practice
- Manages training registrations and maintains organized systems for tracking training data
- Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with staff and partners
- Communicates training requirements to staff and partners and responds in a timely manner to requests for information and technical assistance
- Evaluates training outcomes through the collection, analysis, and reporting of data
- Advocates for services and systems that are equitable, fair, responsive, and accountable to populations serve
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Experience facilitating trainings and orienting learners to new processes and tools.
- Experience training diverse groups using adult learning techniques
- Proficient technical skills and experience using Microsoft 365 and video conferencing platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to create clear and engaging presentations
- Strong organizational, problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position is eligible for remote work and may also be completed in a professional office environment. The following list is representative of the work environment employees encounter while performing the essential functions of this job:

WORKING REMOTELY:
Working remotely is a benefit of Children’s Home Society of Washington’s flexible workplace, but remote work cannot be offered for all positions. Some positions require daily presence in the office. Remote work arrangements may be adjusted or rescinded based upon business needs.

- While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard; occasionally to reach, stoop and kneel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of experience coordinating and facilitating trainings in the Family Support field
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- Successful completion of a driver’s check if position requires driving on a regular basis (at least three times per week) or drives consumers. Must not have more than two driving incidents within the last three years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Education, Social Work or a related field
- Experience providing family support services to families or lived experience navigating family support services
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $77,064-$112,452. The starting salary range for this position is $77,064-$85,911 DOE for external candidates.

Employees will also receive 10 days of vacation leave each year, one personal day each year, and will accrue one sick day per month (pro-rated for part-time employees).
