Summary:

Supports the growth, development, and sustainability of several brand strategy programs related to “More than a Car Dealer”. Supports the execution and administration of programs including Retailer of the Year, Zone of the Year, and Dealer-to-Retailer in collaboration with the Field Marketing team, Subaru of America (SOA) Marketing department, and the Regional/Zone field teams. Conducts frequent data analysis, synthesizes, and complies reporting for Field Marketing Manager and stakeholders. Collaborates with IT and external partners to complete projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis
    • Leads the Tier 3-Marketing data effort including the collection and organization of data from multiple sources (such as third-party vendor partners, Oracle OBI, and Subaru of America [SOA] Departments).
    • Performs data analysis for SOA Marketing, Field, Executive Team, and Retailers, to include both regularly scheduled and ad hoc requests.
  • Retailer Engagement Scorecard
    • Develops and maintains the retailer engagement scorecard that monitors various key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding their participation in brand strategy programs.
    • Distributes retailer impact statements related to participation in national programs. Partners with SOA Marketing platform owners, including Care Connect, Retailer Websites Program, Advertising Team, Carmichael Lynch Field Marketing Team, and SOA Field to encourage retailer usage of impact statements within communications.
    • Conducts and communicates retailer scoring. Identifies opportunity areas by Zone, District, and Retailer. Uses data to identify patterns and insights. Communicates actionable findings to SOA Marketing and Field.
  • Retailer and Zone Recognition Programs
    • Conducts the SOA Field Marketing selection process for our Zone recognition program, Zone of the Year, and retailer recognition program, Retailer of the Year, including Top 6 and Top 20, media partner content (i.e. – Upworthy, Logo), and video selection.
    • Performs rigorous data-analysis using information from multiple sources. Consults with teams outside of SOA Marketing including Market Development and Sales.
    • Builds out recommendations and coordinates Executive review meetings.
  • Marketing Data Repository
    • Serves as Marketing liaison on the retailer Marketing Data Repository project to coordinate regularly with the IT Applications team and ensure that marketing requirements are documented, the project is being designed to the specifications, and SOA marketing platforms teams will be ready to use retailer data.
  • Carmichael Lynch Field Marketing Partnership
    • Acts as day-to-day contact with external creative agency’s (Carmichael Lynch)’s Field Marketing team on priority dealerships and movement in Dealer-to-Retailer status.
    • Communicates opportunities and data-driven findings to SOA Marketing, Executives, and Field.
    • Supports Field Marketing Manager with management of CL Field Marketing Team.
  • IT Data Governance
    • Serves as Marketing project steward on the SOA IT Data Governance project related to Ansira, Subaru Ad Fund, Event Management Tool, and Marketing Resource Center to coordinate regularly with the IT Applications team.
    • Supports Field Marketing Manager on Subaru Ad Fund, Event Management Tool, and Marketing Resource Center to include assisting with the contracts, reporting, administration, rules, field and retailer inquires, and exception requests. Assists with bi-annual executive governance meeting content preparation.
  • Supports Marketing Planning for Success (PFS) by developing meeting and core presentation content using assembled Tier 3 data. Provides core content to SOA Regions and Zones for discussion and planning.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Data analysis skills with experience in Excel, Tableau, and Qlik.
  • Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word).
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter, including independently contacting stakeholders for more information.
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization, including Executive team. Ability to confidently present findings to executive leadership.
  • Adept at building relationships and collaborating with ability to effectively partner with others.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, field operations, retailer (dealership) operations, or experience related to these areas.

Education/Experience Requirements: BA/BS with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience

Work Environment

  • Hybrid Role: Remote work 2 days per week (After 90 Days Onboarding)
  • Required Travel: 30-40%

Compensation: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $65800- $85000 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
