Job Title: Field Training Manager

Reports to: Director Retail Training Programs
Location: Regional (New York City)
Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $60,000 – 70,000
Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Retail Training Programs, the Field Training Manager is responsible for leading the Field Training Associate (FTA) team, including staffing, onboarding, development, and general communications. They will ensure consistency in the quality of work across all FTA Talent and foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing new processes and methodologies to take the team to the next level. In addition to managing the FTA program, the Field Training Manager will work across brands to identify Field Talent opportunities and develop training curriculums to course correct with a holistic and personalized approach that supports growth and retention.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience
• 2-year degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field
• 3-4 years of Visual Merchandising or Retail store experience a plus
• Proven track record of timely Store Visit Report (SVR) review and ability to conduct effective coaching calls, ability to meet Winston/brand SVR standards, consistently meeting multiple brand merchandising requirements, and the ability to build relationships with management.
• Demonstrated experience in:
o Managing and leading teams of 4 or more
o Organization and Time Management
o Utilizing report criteria to make decisions and implement appropriate changes
o Working in a cross-functional environment
o Influencing and negotiating to lead teams in completing projects
Job Duties
• Field Training Associate Program Management and Development. (60%)
• Create a “Field First” mentality by engaging teams, celebrating success, and coaching opportunities leading to minimizing field turnover. (30%)
• Improve and standardize the development of Training and Store Visit Reports for maximum results in execution. (10%)

• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Strong written, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Must be solution-oriented, able to turn challenges into opportunities, and coach the field team to do the same via strong relationships with visual, store, and department management
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email, the ability to master our field visit report/photo reporting system and utilize digital photography/video
• Ability to review and interpret data points, and to use the information to make actionable change
