Responsibilities

Customer Portfolio Management

  • Generate ideas and seize opportunities to drive reduction in DCSO and aged balances
  • Leverage appropriate business practices to generate profitable customer relationships
  • Apply knowledge of key customer financial indicators to evaluate alternative courses of action
  • Initiate customer contact to manage collection process, including resolution of rebills
  • Facilitate and negotiate optimal resolution with customer accounts
  • Engage in customer interface to understand accounting, purchasing, and delivery processes and procedures
  • File Maintenance (i.e. hierarchy, store #, vendor #, statement, etc.)
  • Manage customer account activity through SAP
  • Initiate communication with internal teams to achieve thorough issue resolution, outline customer accounting processes, and maintain reliable customer service

Reporting and Analysis

  • Review and analyze aged trial balance to identify priority accounts to conduct and facilitate collection efforts with the team.
  • Root cause resolution to customer exceptions
  • Account projections and analysis of portfolio. Must understand internal operations to effectively recommend customer processing opportunities
  • Resolve customer discrepancies within a timely manner

Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 Year Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 1 – 3 Years Relevant Experience
  • Proficient in all Windows Applications (emphasis on Excel)
  • Analytical, Assertive, and Results Driven
  • Highly Effective Interpersonal & Communication skills
  • Fosters Creativity and Innovation
  • Strong Team and Organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,400 – $68,000 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
