Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a detail oriented Finance/Accounts Payable assistant for our finance department.
The Administrative assistant would perform a variety of administrative and financial tasks. The duties will include coordinating daily financial tasks, processing invoices and payments, and maintaining a digital record of financial documents. They will also work with the financial management team to assist as needed.
Responsibilities
- Processing and preparing invoices and payments
- Maintaining digital filing systems
- Opening and maintaining vendor accounts
- Overseeing client accounts
- Creating, sending, and following up on invoices
- Collecting and reviewing data for reports
- Reviewing and performing audits on financial statements and reports
- Reporting discrepancies
- Preparing payments for employees
- Suggesting improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and reducing costs
Education and Experience
- Degree in accounting or finance.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Quickbooks and Bill.com experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills.
