Job Description
The Division Finance Analyst is responsible for handling the financial accounting, planning, and tracking for the division’s financial goals. They are also responsible for reporting on key metrics for the division as well as ad hoc reporting.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide financial analysis support to senior management
- Research marketing and accounting issues
- Gather, summarize, prepare and analyze financial/ operational data
- Sales and gross profit analysis
- Presentations for senior management
- Support for quarterly planning process
- Four week close variance analysis and reporting
- Calculation of return on investment, IRR
- Relational database, both PC and mainframe, writing ad hoc queries
- Hands-on working knowledge of GAAP
- Special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications: The following are preferred:
Education Level:
- Four-year college degree in Finance or Accounting or 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis.
- Graduate of the Retail Management Certificate Program preferred.
Experience Level:
- Experience in a CPG or Fortune 500 company a plus.
- MBA, CPA desirable.
Skills and Experiences:
- Advanced PC skills in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with QMF, Oracle, and Essbase a strong plus.
- Experience with writing Macros and Automation Scripts preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present analyses and recommendations to senior management.
- Can present complex issues in a simple, logical, and brief manner.
- Strong analytical, statistical, market analysis, competitive analysis, and ROI analysis skills. Promotional analysis skills a plus.
- Comfortable with large amounts of data and able to identify key trends and variance and summarize.
- Creative problem-solving skills. A demonstrated track record of making a difference and adding value.
- Strong organizational skills. Able to multi-task. Brings a strong sense of “customer service”; a strong responsiveness ethic and a sense of urgency.
- Retail experience is a plus, but not required.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 to 10%

Colorado positions ONLYSalary Range Begins: $60,000 -$70,000 and is commensurate with experience and other relevant factors.
