RH is searching for a versatile financial professional to join Team RH as the Financial Accounting and Reporting Leader. This position leads the Company’s external financial reporting process, including quarterly and annual reporting, SEC filings, and other domestic and international financial reporting needs. Additionally, the role assists in equity administration as well as accounting and reporting policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Live Our Vision, Values and Beliefs every day
- Lead the external financial reporting process, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings
- Maintain detailed, high-quality work papers to support disclosures included in SEC filings
- Liaise with external auditors as a key contact to support the audit process throughout the year
- Own equity administration and accounting, including reporting of stock-based compensation expense and related tax impacts and earnings per share calculations
- Support the accounting close via assigned journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as completion of monthly financial statements
- Build the accounting and reporting procedures manual
- Support international statutory accounting through reviews of reporting documents and audit support
- Responsible for internal controls compliance for direct areas of responsibility and support overall internal controls compliance
- Assist with ad hoc projects as requested
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience with public companies
- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and solid experience with SEC rules and regulations and related financial disclosures for a public company
- Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy and exactitude
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to successfully meet deadlines
- Proven ability to think critically and solve problems
