Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Check all students’ prior financial aid information prior to the start of each semester.
  • Accurately input financial aid information in applicable databases.
  • Track and monitor students’ awards to ensure funds are accurately received on a timely basis.
  • Follow-up on all items preventing or delaying the awarding and disbursement of financial aid to ensure that all financial aid is ready to disburse at or before the end of the semester. This includes contact with external and internal departments.
  • Report to the Financial Aid Manager any activity or incident which may not be in compliance with all state, federal, and or, corporate guidelines or regulations.
  • Responsible for assisting students with financial aid inquires and questions.
  • Adhere to all Federal and State Financial Aid Guidelines.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with and in compliance with all rules and regulations contained in the VA School Certifying Official Handbook as well as any other guidance issued from other regulatory bodies.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned

Salary: $41,000-43,000

This position is eligible for overtime

The selected candidate’s actual base pay for this role will take into account a wide range of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. At Bryant & Stratton College, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Information about the total compensation package for this position will be provided during the interview process.
