Role Overview
The Enterprise Planning and Reporting team manages the coordination, consolidation and reporting of EA’s overall planning and management reporting process. We play an important role on the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team providing strategic partnership to executive leaders across EA. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA’s performance.
EA is looking for a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Director, for its Enterprise FP&A team to help support our growth. You will play a critical role in our close, forecasting and reporting process and be a collaborative partner to the broader Finance organization.
What You’ll Do
Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly close activities in collaboration with the accounting teams including multiple variance analyses for compliance
- Lead the financial forecast process for Enterprise FP&A and prepare analysis including variance analyses
- Prepare financial reporting and analyses and provide meaningful insights to guide decision-making and influence business direction
Financial & Strategic Business Partnership
- Gain an understanding of the Enterprise FP&A team
- Build relationships with partners and collaborate to work toward a goal
- Understand and manage budget including ongoing risks and opportunities
Drive FP&A Excellence
- Learn about financial reporting and analyses to guide decision-making
- Learn about business and finance processes and identify areas of improvement, standardization, and automation of forecasting, reporting and close
Experience and Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of related financial experience
- Exposure to P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
- Expertise in MS Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Anaplan and Power BI a plus

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
° $66,000 – $100,800
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
° $59,750 – $90,850
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
