This job contributes to Starbucks success by providing strategic insight into the new & existing store portfolio occupancy budget and driving decisions that maximize the profitability of the portfolio. As an financial lease advisor, you will…

  • Maintain full Lease Management life cycle post-execution of all critical requirements in a region of about 500-1000 stores, including rent payments, amendments, agreements, key renewals, contract changes and terminations. Acting as Property Manager and primary point of contact for all existing stores.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relations with customers, landlords, and other key stakeholders to collaborate on short, intermediate, and long-term real estate initiatives that meet Starbucks objectives and goals.
  • Lead lease interpretation, education, risk assessment and enforcement cross-functionally to support escalated issues and/or influence other partners to resolve complex lease related issues and/or defaults.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • Ability to work in Central or East Coast time zone, preferred
  • 5+ years experience in property management and lease administration
  • 5+ years administration of commercial real estate contracts or comparable business experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, accounting or finance preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organization, analytical and planning skills along with strong communication, writing, and negotiation skills. Ability to read and interpret contractual agreements, as well as work in cross functional, collaborative relationships with business partners and to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Strong ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a complex, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment bringing cross-functional teams and leaders along, while communicating outcomes and providing recommendations
  • Ability to influence others without authority vertically and horizontally throughout the organization and cross functionally.
  • Achieve Measurable Results by consistently exceeding goals and dedicated to exceeding the expectation of internal and external customers.
