Manages the activities of financial planning, reporting, analysis, budget and forecast processes. Responsibilities include annual and long-range forecasting and budgeting development and planning as well as monthly reporting and accounting close cycle. This position has visibility to the leadership team and interacts with a wide array of key stakeholders (Finance & Accounting Team, Systems team, Senior Leadership & Executive Team).
This position will have a salary range of $90,800-135,000 based on experience and location.
What you’ll be responsible for:
• Leads the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports in comparison to prior year, budget, and forecast with variance analysis. Prepares financial analysis and interprets results, variances and drivers of the company relating to all aspects of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Collaborates with cross-functional budget owners and planning functions to create a complete Budget and subsequent monthly forecast updates. Supports Long Range Planning.
• Leads the preparation of internal financial reporting, dashboard reporting and profitability/ operations analysis.
• Prepares and monthly executive reports and quarterly financial information for the Board of Directors. Supports external reporting and investor relations. Employs a creative approach for visual storytelling.
• Supports new technology enhancements to improve financial reporting. Maintains financial reporting hierarchy and data integrity across multiple systems.
• Supports month-end and year-end closing. Maintains allocations for segment and product profitability. Performs continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period.
• Assists Finance Team with the creation, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive accounting policy documents to improve clarity and consistency.
• Implements and maintains reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements. Maintains security for financial reporting access. Complies with internal controls and responds timely to audit requirements.
• Hires, supports and trains new and existing staff to nurture their ongoing development.
• Oversees OneStream, Tableau and nVision reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Develops financial best practices and process improvements for financial reporting and planning. Seeks ways to streamline and improve processes.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA license or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting or analysis.
• Previous supervision experience required.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work with confidential materials and employee information and always maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% for meetings and trainings.

• Strong presentation and visual storytelling skills.
• Excellent track record in financial analysis – revenue & expense analysis, variance analysis, balance sheet analytics, dashboards and trending analysis, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP and other accounting/ finance principles.
• Able to accurately apply company policies and procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Peoplesoft and OneStream.
• Maintains updated professional and technical knowledge.
• Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
