Position Summary
Our dental segment, HuFriedyGroup, enables dental professionals to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, drive compliance, and enhance patient and staff safety. At HuFriedyGroup, we are committed to helping dental professionals perfect their craft and deliver the highest level of care to each patient.
Dental instrument makers and finishers will utilize eye to hand coordination and attention to detail to perform various critical finishing operations on the working ends of dental instruments such as buffing, sharpening, grinding, shaping, polishing, and other operations as needed.
Job Details
$18-$19 Hourly Wage
Schedule: 2nd Shift ($0.50 Shift Premium)
Monday-Friday
2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (OT Available)
*****Must be able to train on the FIRST shift for 2-4 months. (6 am-2:30 pm)*****

Duties
- Utilize abrasive belts and wheels to finish dental instruments
- Detect unacceptable quality on instruments and correct any practices or processes that do not meet established standards.
- Maintaining compliance standards and specifications for products using specified measurement tools and drawings.
- Actively learn from internal master instrument finishers and demonstrate the comprehension of advanced instrument making skills
- Following all guidelines for safety
Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
- Set-up and operation of basic machines, tools, equipment, including grinding machines and small hand held tools.
- Experience performing repetitive work while maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Work experience making some independent judgments concerning product quality and take necessary corrective action.
- Basic use of measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic blueprint reading
