This role is for the advanced R&D team in the Oppo Health Lab, and is a dynamic position intended to pioneer new innovations for the next generation of consumer health products. Applicants should be highly self-motivated, and work with a passion to learn and improve new concepts in both independent and team settings.
Responsibilities
Own the development of firmware for the next generation of consumer health monitoring devices. Follow ideas through system integration, having a multi-disciplinary understanding of product design and working cross-functionally to drive optimization and innovation of new concepts.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- BS in EE/CS with 3+ yrs industry experience, or MS in EE/CS with 1+ yrs industry experience
- Highly proficiency in C/C++
- Experience with analog peripheral integration
- Experience with BLE integration
- Experience with digital signals analysis and debugging (logic analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with common serial communications protocols including I2C, SPI, UART
- Ability to own architecture and think big picture, not just implement modules
- Ability to work independently/self-manage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in bio-signals and exposure to digital health monitoring
- Practiced in prototype development and low batch design for manufacturing
- Experience with analog circuit design and signal conditioning
- Experience with RTOS on ARM SoC’s
- Experience with Qi WPT protocol

The US base salary range for this contractor position is $30-$70/hour. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
