Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First Line Fulfillment Manager (Level K) to lead the Fabrication Skin and Spar Fulfillment team in Puyallup , Washington!
This leader will be able to see the big picture while being a pertinent part of an evolving Skin and Spar Fulfillment Team. They will get leadership exposure by guiding teams and communicating with all levels of partners, from the shop floor and internal leadership to external customers. They are someone who can understand the strategic aspect of the organization and can demonstrate their knowledge to meet supply chain management goals and customers’ expectations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages and integrates employee’s activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
- Develops and carries out project and process plan, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Leads, develops and motivates employees.
- Applies One-BPS techniques through Key Performance Indicators and lean manufacturing.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involve cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- 3+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with an industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system such as SAP (System Applications & Products) or Material Resource Planning (MRP) system
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or the Boeing Production System
- 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace/operations manufacturing management
- 3+ years of experience with business knowledge, leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment
- Bachelor’s degree or higher

Summary pay range: $120,100 – $139,700
