Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a First Line Manager (Level K) to join our 737 Fulfillment team in Renton Washington ! This position is for 2nd shift and must be able to work the hours of 1:30pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The successful candidate is someone who can energize and lead teams, understand the strategic aspect of the organization and associated initiatives, work in a sophisticated organization, and can leverage their knowledge of the company and multiple functional disciplines to meet supply chain management goals and our internal and external customers’ expectations.
Candidates must be able to translate strategic goals into tactical actions that are understandable to the team. This position will include leading our warehouse operations teams in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with other Fulfillment leaders will also involve process improvement and leading of projects.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and manages relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Leads, develops and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 3+ years of experience working with Supply Chain
- 3+ years of experience in a role requiring strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing and the Boeing Production System
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience

Summary pay range: $120,650 – $151,050
