PCSI is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the vehicle maintenance department on Tinker Air Force Base! The Fleet Maintenance Manager supervises the fleet management & analysis team, ensuring that staff are trained and assigned responsibilities to operate the department effectively. This position is also responsible for reviewing work order records, quality inspections, and continuity plans to comply with the performance work statement (PWS) and other air force standards. The Fleet Maintenance Manager must have strong working knowledge of the vehicle maintenance trade, and US Air Force experience is a major plus.
This position reports to the Project Manager and is based near Oklahoma City, OK. Typical hours are a Monday-Friday day shift, but some availability on call outside of regular hours may be required. This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

- Base pay of $85,000-$92,000, depending upon experience.

What You’ll Do as Fleet Maintenance Manager:
- Responsible for overall fleet management.
- Manage the Vehicle Maintenance and Analysis office.
- Ensure performance work statement (PWS), AFI 24-302 and other directives are met or exceeded.
- Coordinate on all correspondence above unit-level dealing with Vehicle Fleet Management or Maintenance issues.
- Assign responsibilities and give authority to supervisors to ensure all functions within the Fleet Management Flight operate effectively.
- Ensure personnel are available to meet workload demands and productivity of assigned personnel is maintained.
- Develop continuity folders to track major problems, construction projects, long-range plans, approved waivers and/or deviations, and unique operating requirements and past maintenance practices.
- Evaluate training requirements and request formal training as needed.
- Work with the IBS Parts Distributor and local Dealerships to take full advantage of part and vehicle warranties.
- Control the contract maintenance program in accordance with PWS, AFI 24-302, AFI 63-124, T.O. 36-1-191, Blade and all other applicable publications and systems.
- Manage the Technical Order Library.
- Analyze reports received from fleet management and analysis office (FM&A) (MC rates, Accident and Abuses Parts and Labor Costs, etc.) to find weak or deficient areas and set up corrective policies and procedures.
- Review workloads, schedule work assignments, leave schedules, standby rosters, and recall rosters.
- Review inspections and quality assurance findings with supervisors and take corrective action when it is indicated. Identify specific vehicles, vehicle types or users that require an excessive amount of maintenance effort and initiate the process to correct the problem.
- Conduct shop meetings with section supervisors to identify and solve maintenance problems.
- Promote safety, occupational health and fire prevention.
- Provide Annual MICT Checklist updates per PWS.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
- General working knowledge of vehicle maintenance trade for general and special purpose vehicles, to include military design.
- Minimum of two (2) years prior supervisory experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
- Department of Defense (DOD) or US Air Force (USAF) experience is desired.
- Requires knowledge of PC functions and software, and operating knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in the various areas of assignment; use of hand and power tools in the vehicle maintenance trade; safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and perform vehicle maintenance duties and personnel.
- Ability to plan, direct, train, oversee and perform vehicle maintenance, and repair; use and maintain common hand tools, small power equipment and other facility equipment.
- Ability to analyze data and make suggestions based on the results.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written format, including ability to instruct others in correct maintenance procedures and safe use of materials and equipment.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to be on call after hours and handle emergency calls.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for assigned job; must be able to obtain National Agency Check (NAC).
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
