Fleet Production Coordinator

Overview

Enterprise Holdings, operating the Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental brands, has an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Coordinator at our New Orleans Airport location in Kenner, LA.

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Fleet Supervisor with fleet movement, lot organization, the infleeting process, and the execution of overall fleet movement at the airport. This individual will be responsible for providing direction as to fleet placement and storage to optimize fleet mix on the ready line. The Fleet Production Coordinator will lead the Auto Detailers and Drivers, the production line, and perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers per the Complete Clean Pledge. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and be self-motivated! Being that this candidate will be leading a work group, this person should have strong leadership and direction when it comes to leading production, attendance, and quality control.

This is a full time position is located at 400 Rental Blvd. in Kenner, LA.

The schedule is 4:00pm-12:00am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (OFF Wednesday, Saturday). The rate of pay is $17.50 per hour plus additional differential pay of $0.75-$2.00.

Responsibilities

  • Support the process of cleaning and servicing vehicles at the New Orleans Airport QTA to ensuring smooth operation of fleet movement through the QTA
  • Ensure quality control by performing vehicle inspection to ensure that our Auto Detailer team is efficiently cleaning and preparing our fleet to have them ready for customers each day.
  • Close communication with rental management team to understand logistics needs and support the Fleet Supervisors in ensuring Auto Detailers are working to meet those needs
  • Quickly investigate and work with Fleet Supervisors to resolve operational problems as they arise
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance
  • Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned
  • All other duties as directed by Management.
  • Facilitate lost and found items with administrative team

Lot Organization

  • Manage driver activity to and from the QTA while ensuring that new car stock, in fleet units, and resales/turnbacks vehicles are moved to the best location to maximize lot space and traffic flow
  • Act as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis
  • Act as a point of contact for Managers to get specific upgrade vehicles for customers

Qualifications

  • Prior management experience required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid drivers license in with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
  • Apart from religious observation, must be available to work 40 hours/week, flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
