JOB TITLE: Food Service Worker
REPORTS TO:Director of Nutritional Services
POSITION SUMMARY: This job may require the employee to be responsible for serving food, checking temperatures of food, monitoring essential equipment and ensuring a clean work area. This Job will also require the employee to cross train in all areas of the department including, but not limited to, cook, dishwasher, clerk (menu processing, tray line), S1 (Starter 1), S2 (Starter 2), KA (Kitchen Aid), chef, cashier, Sandwich Cart, and Store Room Clerk, as well as other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Food service experience preferred. Healthcare dietary experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Food Handler’s permit required. ServSafe Certificate preferred.
