Frito Lay is PepsiCo’s snack manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit. Functional Description:

PepsiCo Foodservice is a division of PepsiCo that brings the company’s entire portfolio of food and beverage brands to market in out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on the go.

What critical experiences would you gain as a Sales Director Designate?

You will learn about our business model, our processes, and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally while leading and developing a team of sales professionals. In this role, you will benefit from a personalized development program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding while owning key projects [Superbowl Activation, Alcohol Distributor Engagement and Activation] allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo’s fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.

Responsibilities

The AFH Sales Director Designate will be responsible for developing and executing (1) the growth strategy for our Las Vegas market to drive portfolio expansion and secure multi-million-dollar new business accounts and (2) the growth strategy to launch our PepsiCo Portfolio with Alcohol Distributors to reach new consumers and occasions. The Designate will own these 2 strategies from end to end while onboarding successfully into Pepsico Foodservice. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This role operates within a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities for a Sales Director Designate Include:

  • Staff, develop, and lead a team to sell and execute with excellence across priority foodservice segments; build a temporary staffing strategy to support short-term and high-volume events, including F1 Grand Prix & Super Bowl
  • Lead the sales call for the most prestigious properties, including but not limited to: Allegiant Stadium, Formula 1, T-Mobile Arena, MSG Sphere, Top 15 Largest Casinos, and Clark County ISD
  • Wire with XF Teams, including Field sales, National Distributors, National Account Teams, Sales Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing to secure resources and support in developing and executing market strategy
  • Lead all aspects of Super Bowl planning and execution, wiring with FL DSD Southwest Region and PBNA West Division to drive an omni-channel market approach
  • Create the strategy for how PepsiCo can leverage Alcohol distributors to extend PepsiCo Portfolio Reach to meet new consumers and new occasions that are unmet in our current go to market.
  • Establish partnerships with key industry distributors and players to advance the strategy by leveraging current relationships, attending alcohol and wine conferences, events and showcases, etc.
  • Align with key customers/distributors on strategy and activation plan and execute the plan through a Joint Business Plan process (JBP)
  • Build team as need to support the alcohol distributor agenda
  • Ideal candidate would be able to relocate post Super Bowl.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $120,000 – $200,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive of $25000 stock purchase program awarded based on eligibility.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree (MBA a plus)
  • 7+ years of customer selling experience required
  • CPG experience in a direct store delivery environment required
  • 1+ years of Alcohol Sales / Distribution experience (Distributor or manufacturer) preferred
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the retail industry; preferably within the C&G channel
  • Strong Negotiation, Analytical, Prioritization, Interpersonal, Problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
  • Compelling interpersonal skills with the ability to craft powerful and persuasive messages
  • Dedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organization
  • Business & financial acumen
  • Expertise with expense management and/or managing a P&L
