Responsibilities
- Serves as the expert analyst to align Foreign Language strategic plans to the mission, vision, objectives, and priorities
- Develops/conducts annual survey-to gather data on foreign language workforce and human language technology from all IC components with a foreign language missions. Synthesizes IC element responses and prepares annual reporting on foreign language capabilities.
- Develops mandatory annual congressional report
- Responds to internal and external taskings (in include congressional, Department of Defense, interagency, ODNI, etc.) on foreign language capabilities.
- Guides Foreign Language policy development
- Develops input for the Intelligence Planning Guidance and Consolidated Intelligence Guidance
- Interface with IC CHO components and program managers in linking resources with foreign language-related activities and in reviewing progress against the status of IC-wide and agency-specific foreign language-related performance measures
- Provide input to Congressional Budget Justification Book Volumes I and XII for foreign language-related text and Foreign Language Proficient Pay Tables.
- Interacts with IC Agency Foreign Language POCs
- Interfaces: DNI (HC, Policy & Strategy, NIMC, NIC), 18 IC Agencies, NARSIL Task 7
- Processes/Activities: Policy development, Writing reports, Communications, CBJB, CIG, Workforce Initiatives, Data Analysis
- Tools: MS Office
Qualifications
- TS SCI w/Poly
- BS+18 or MS+ 10 years experience required
- Extensive experience (five to 10 years) in the IC Foreign Language Community (Can be military or civilian – no customer preference)
- Knows a foreign language (the language itself is not important; it is the experience of having learned a foreign language and having used the foreign language in the IC).
- Experience with policy development, Writing reports, Communications, CBJB, CIG, Workforce Initiatives, Data Analysis
- Experience with using MS Office

Target Salary Range
$146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
