Fragrance Coordinator (Temporary Assignment)

Fragrance Coordinator, as an ambassador, will represent Maison Cartier Parfums in the Specialist and Retail network (Wholesale accounts).
This role will be responsible for assisting the (Region) market development (sell-in and sell-out) while respecting the profitability target fixed by his/her manager, and the Maison image.
Develop sell-out
- Build the sell-in through strong sell-out initiatives in your market.
- Review and follow-up the sell-out results per door and propose action plan if needed (Cartier vs competition)
- Negotiate locally with managers to develop in-store sell-out (animations, staff incentives, space, and location, etc.) in liaise with Account Executive.
- Follow-up on needed stock levels and product availability
- Responsible in assisting the AE supporting the assigned store(s) to achieve/ exceed Cartier Fragrances sales objectives on a consistent basis, every month, remaining true to Cartier Parfums core values and mission.
- Support Fragrance Ambassadors in creating a memorable luxury shopping experience for clients both in store and through client outreach.
- Coach Fragrance Ambassadors in fostering a culture of building relationships and personal client interactions with “on the spot” sales trainings.
- Maximize animation/events and sales during Retailer’s corporate sales events and promotions, assist with selling during events to achieve sales goals.
Improve Image and Visibility
- Ensure the perfect implementation of VM guidelines.
- Follow-up the implementation and execution of trade marketing activities (visual weeks and events negotiated at corporate level as well at store level) and merchandising negotiation.
- Supply sufficient stock of testers and POSM per door and make sure the elements in store are always in good condition.
- Follow up with Account Executive to ensure all POSM are available in the stores.
- Negotiate locally with store management on premium space and location, additional visibility, and -events at store level.
Support
- Demonstrates strong internal and external communication skills.
- Support the Fragrance Ambassador freelance team.
- Soft support Boutiques within your regions in liaison with the Account Executive.
- Optimize scheduling & location.
- Follow-up the retailers coop FS
- Monitor and develop the productivity per FS
- Visit stores daily, support during all key selling times and ensure Cartier presence in the market.
Reporting:
- Monthly sales reports/Stock requests
- Sell-out review per week/month / by door
- FS productivity per month / FS
- Competition survey and feedback
- Market monthly recaps
- Scheduling and approving weekly hours
Qualification
- Knowledge of luxury goods, preferably in the fragrance industry in the US; 2+ years of experience required.
Required experience
- Sound analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and timely.
- Flexibility to travel via car or plane is required.
- Able to drive FS team development through with effective leadership skills: Enhances bench strength through mastery of skill set, while inspiring others to accomplish goals.
- Strong communication skills: able to provide open, fair, and honest communication always.
- Demonstrates ability to engage in effective collaboration / develop business relationships.
- Demonstrates learning agility.
- Local travel required.
Technical Skills/ abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and Power point
Expected Salary Range: $32 to $34 per hour.
