Overview

Are you looking for a unique opportunity to join an emerging team in the exciting industry of Lottery and Gaming? Then you may be the perfect candidate to join our expanding Cashless Payments Fraud team.

In this Fraud Analyst position on our Cashless Payment Services Team you will monitor, investigate, and cause actions to mitigate fraudulent activities by players of IGT’s lottery, casino and sports betting customers. Reports directly to the Manager, Fraud and Risk Services.

Responsibilities
• Perform operational tasks found by policies and procedures related to funds and fraud management
• Conduct in-depth data analysis, validation, and investigation as needed
• Generate ad-hoc reports as required in a timely and accurate manner
• Support a variety of account and payment administration tasks relating to daily finance and client support queries
• Undertaking operational risk management duties primarily focusing on game play reviews, regulatory review procedures, card-present and card-absent fraud, payments fraud, and operational fraud
• Identify payment and fraudulent activity trends and make recommendations on appropriate changes in order to minimize identified risk
• Ensuring key security and risk objectives are met by effective management of company and third-party risk tools
• Managing player accounts including fund transfers, account privileges, payment requests etc.
• Responding to and disputing potential chargeback transactions, reporting and tracking dispute resolution
• Processing debit/credit card, bank payment transactions in a timely manner in accordance with the company fraud/risk policy
• Additional duties as required

Work Location
This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule (50% remote from home/50% in-office) at our Providence, RI office (first preference). We will also consider candidates residing in Las Vegas or Reno, NV.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of analysis experience; payments industry is desired but not required
• Highly analytical thinker, proactive problem solver, expected to present problems and solutions simultaneously
• A team player who enjoys researching and troubleshooting with an innovative and self-sufficient outlook
• Personal energy to proactively address situations and follow a positive approach; resilience in front of change and obstacles
• Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand business needs and interact at all levels of the business
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation reporting tools
• Have an understanding of the unique qualities to work in a small independent team with the ability to make on the spot decisions would be desired

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $36,500-$100,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
