The Role
As a Graphic Designer on the Performance Creative team, you will be designing compelling, best-in-class static and light motion assets for a wide range of clients in many verticals. If you have an amazing design aesthetic, strong art direction skills and experience designing for digital platforms, you’d be a great fit! You will be responsible for maintaining and elevating the integrity of our clients’ branding by helping our Performance Creative Managers explore new and exciting ways to elevate and execute creative concepts.
Candidates must be based in Los Angeles and open to attending on-site client meetings at least twice a month. This role is temp to perm, dependent on performance and continued opportunity, starting around 15-30 hours per month.

The anticipated hourly rate for this role will range from $28.00 – $52.00. If converted full-time, the anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $60,000 – $75,000 (the total compensation package will include benefits) based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, and market dynamics.

You Will Be
- Elevating brands by creating stunning static and GIF assets for digital platforms – including Meta, Google Display, Programmatic banners, web, emails, and more
- Upholding quality design aesthetic and attention to detail for error-free design output
- Taking a creative brief and designing best-in-class ads with timely delivery
- Referencing client brand guidelines to ensure work is on-brand
- Working closely with Art Directors, Performance Creative Managers, the Director of Performance Creative and other Wpromote team members
- Iterating on designs based on feedback from clients and team members by translating complex notes into simple directives
- Supporting Performance Creative Managers & Art Directors with concept development
- Building storyboards for video ads in order to gain client buy-in before handing off to the Motion Designers for execution
- Conducting research on Wpromote Performance Creative clients
You Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in digital graphic design
- Experience creating digital ads for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Display, etc).
- A strong portfolio of design, showing an excellent sense of typography, layout, and digital design principles (please include a link or attachment with your application)
- Time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment both in collaboration with a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail to integrate all client feedback
- Ability to make persuasive arguments to influence design decisions with internal and external partners
- A hunger to deliver world-class creative for digital marketing campaigns
- A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design, and technology and can push for and help set trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- A positive, open mind that is focused on having a stellar creative vision with a strong understanding of performance creative objectives
- Working knowledge with mobile-first design perspective
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field
- Knowledge and experience of UX/UI is a plus
- Light motion graphics skills in After Effects is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML5 animation is a plus
- Location/Travel Requirements: The role is based in Los Angeles and candidates must be available to travel within Los Angeles for on-site client meetings a minimum of twice per month
