As a Hotel Front Desk Receptionist, you will be a critical and valuable member of the front office staff. You will perform the following duties while delivering exceptional customer service,

  • Greet, register, assign rooms and issue room keys to guests
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and make necessary corrections required
  • Listen to guest complaints and strives to finds solutions in a timely manner
  • Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about property and surrounding areas
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention
  • Adhere to Westgate’s company core values, Integrity, Passion, and Work Ethic

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service and hospitality experience is strongly preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
  • Experience working in customer facing industries such as hotel, resort, medical, banking, airlines, etc.
  • Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology and learning new reservation software
  • Fast learner with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to read, write and speak English conversationally
  • Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team
  • Enjoys working in a fun face paced environment
  • Must be to lift up to 15lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
