Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a qualified Front End Developer to join our team. The position requires a self-motivated, detail oriented professional with excellent communication skills, problem solving ability and organizational skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

– Create reactive front-end designs that are section 508 compliant
– Create interactive training material
– Work with development team to wire front ends into back end APIs
– Provide graphics support and develop icons for applications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

– Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
– Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
– Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
– Applicants must be organized, flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a team environment, but also capable of completing individual tasks in a timely manner.
– Ability to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment.
– Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field
– Minimum of 1 year of experience developing or architecting web application UI framework
– Ability to create online training material.

Desired Qualifications:
– Possess an active SECRET Clearance
– Experience in responsive and adaptive UI design and development.
– Experience in security-oriented projects and solutioning.
– Experience with Angular, Backbone JS, Polymer, or other front-end frameworks.
– Experience with web components, micro-frontends, control/pattern libraries and tools
– Experience with packaging, bundling and library management tools.
– Experience with accessibility, usability and design systems.
– Experience with Azure DEVOPS, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT and other DevOps principles.
– Experience with Agile development.
– A problem solver who is able to move fluidly between high-level abstract thinking and detailed implementations.
– Open to new ideas and approaches. Able to implement using various technologies.
– A self-starter who is naturally inquisitive.
– Strong in partnership and communication.
– Good problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills
– Proactive and aggressive attitude
– Good in verbal & written communication

Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $60,000 – $100,000.
