Position: Front End Lead

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Perform software testing with diversified exposure in both Manual and Automation Testing of client/server, Mobile and Web-based applications with focus on Quality Assurance. Participate in Software testing and signoff including test scenario identification, execution, reporting and automation for W+ membership projects. Support features and releases for Walmart Plus(W+) membership projects. Perform Smoke, Functional, Positive, Negative, Integration, and Regression Tests to support the project. Participate in Defect triage for the regression issues and follow up with the corresponding team and resolve them in time for weekly releases. Automate Web FE flows for W+ projects and ensure complete coverage in both new feature and regression coverage using TestCafe, Selenium, Javascript, TypeScript and CSS. Support weekly release tasks independently. Support the team members on several E2E initiatives/release support activities. Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs; interacting with project managers to provide input on project plan and providing leadership to the project team. Works with small groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short and long term solutions and timeline; reviewing and providing feedback for proposed solutions and performing design and code reviews of changes. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs. Deploy the development code to production environment using Docker. Conduct daily defect triages and drive them to resolution. Work with team members on automation framework, framework usage and script standards. Develop automation catalog for easy reference.

Minimum education and experience required: 7 years of experience in front end software development.

Skills required: Experience building and enhancing automation frameworks using programming languages including Java or JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, JSON, Test Café, HTML, CSS, and Cucumber. Experience with different phases of Software Testing and Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Agile Methodology. Experience with CI/CD integrations including Jenkins to deploy and schedule the builds. Experience troubleshooting the product issues and bug-fixes using Server and Splunk logs. Experience in Test Management, Defect Management techniques, document test plans, executing tests, finding log defects and resolving, re-testing and deploying applications to production. Experience in A/B testing methodologies for launching new features to the site. Experience creating test scripts for test automation using Selenium, Web Driver, using open source technologies and tools for best practices in Quality Assurance. Experience deploying the code using Docker. Experience developing the scripts to run on Applitools and analyzing the failures. Experience reviewing and updating the scripts and monitoring production issues using Catchpoint tools. Experience with Git and GitHub tools for maintaining the version controlling and maintaining the code files using Pull, Push and Clone methods. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this full-time position is $164,050/year to $200,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives
