Job Highlights:
Do you like modernizing capabilities, creating new functionality, and creating a cohesive user experience through consistent and usable UIs and workflows? This systems modernization project incorporates the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, Microservices Architecture, AI/ML, and DevSecOps to provide Computer Vision capabilities.
As a Front-End Developer with RGi, you will be a key member of a tight-knit agile development team, contributing to the development of solutions that support critical missions for the U.S. Government. Your work will involve collaborating to deliver solutions that integrate with the backend teams and test teams. Contributing to the design, development, test, and integration of many components within a microservice architecture.
Clearance:
- Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph
- US Citizenship required
As a Front-End Developer, you will…
- Think creatively and apply UX principles in designing, implementing, testing, and integrating new and updated front-end components
- Employ industry proven design principles, open-source tools, and engineering experience to deliver and integrate tools and capabilities for a broad set of users and communities
- Compose solutions that incorporate micro services, containerization, and RESTful Web components – leveraging DevOps pipelines to drive rapid delivery
- Work in a highly collaborative and rapidly changing environment within a distributed team
- Work a hybrid schedule with accommodating team environment
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in full life-cycle software development
- User interface development experience in Angular, React, Svelte, or similar framework
- Experience creating and maintaining web applications and integration with backend teams
- Experience with HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, etc
Additional Skills We’d Like to See:
- Experience with Tailwind
- Experience building and configuring CI pipelines (Gitlab & Jenkins)
- Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs including REST & SOAP
- DBA knowledge: Oracle, MarkLogic, Postgres, Mongo
- Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana
- Experience with AWS environments
- Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
- Understanding of GIS concepts (ESRI tools)
- Security+ Certification
$90,000 – $190,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience.
