Leidos is seeking a Frontend Developer for a position in Aurora Colorado or Gaithersburg Maryland. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance. The Web Developer will work with the lead development and Prime contractor who will define tasks and schedules. Since program leadership is remotely located, the ability to self-start and work independently is essential.
Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will support the development and support of web applications written using NodeJS and Typescript. Additional responsibilities include responding to feature requests and bug fixes. The successful candidate will employ strong debugging skills needed to solve challenging software issues. The successful candidate will also write unit tests around solved bug problems. This position also required assisting in the development of new APIs
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires BS in Engineering or Computer Science. 3 – 5 years of prior relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- Demonstrated experience in front-end web development languages (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated Unit Test development.
- Demonstrated experience with developing websites using Javascript technologies NodeJS and Typescript.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing frontend APIs.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile environment and consulting in a multi-project environment using technologies like GIT and Jira.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong CSS/UI design skills
- Experience with SvelteJS
- Knowledge of Geospatial development, SOM or NGA missions
This position has a target range for compensation of $118,000 – $125,000. This is a firm fixed price contract and does not allow for negotiations outside of this target range.
Pay Range: Pay Range $97,500.00 – $176,250.00
