FT CIP (Clean In Place) Specialist ** $3000 Sign-On Bonus**

Overview

SUMMARY OF JOB

Perform processes and procedures used to maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the plant.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

The CIP Specialist does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop working knowledge of CIP Operator position. Must learn both raw and pasteurized CIP processes and hookups.

2. Completion of Environmental Work Orders.

3. Maintain compliance with HACCP Plan and all the associated programs and paperwork.

4. Participate in the in-house Environmental Pathogen program and the ATP/Watergiene programs.

5. Conduct Sanitary Inspections.

6. Conduct sampling and testing for Allergen Program.

7. Work in conjunction with the QC lab and cleaner representatives to trouble-shoot bacteria related issues throughout the plant.

8. Develop working knowledge of in-plant computer controls. Must be able to access and comprehend CIP programs and Data Retrieval information.

9. Develop working knowledge of cream loadout and tanker CIP.

10. Must be flexible with schedule. May be required to work weekends or late nights, if

needed.

11. All associates in their related tasks are responsible for maintaining the commitment to Food Safety and Food Quality.

12. Entry level rate of $15 per hour. $3.00 attendance incentive.

13. Schedule is Mon-Fri 10AM-630PM

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

The CIP Specialist should have good basic computer skills, good basic math skills, and good verbal and written communication skills. The job requires a conscientious, detail-oriented person who is accurate and consistent. The job requires the ability to work independently and cooperatively in groups. They must also work safely. This person must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a good understanding about the importance of proper sanitation practices in a food processing plant. Mechanical inclination helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing for extended periods. Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.

Frequent verbal communication Frequent bending.

Tolerant of wet working conditions. Tolerance to wide variety of cleaners.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The CIP Specialist would conduct sanitation duties in each environment throughout the plant: Raw Receiving, Processing, Filling, and the warehouse. This individual needs to be prepared to work in wet conditions. They must also consistently oversee and perform all tasks in a safe and sanitary manner. Work needs to be completed efficiently and effectively in order to maintain production schedules.
