Description:Responsibilities will span the technology development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, and integration and flight test.
Responsibilities may span the avionics services. Integration activities will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with programming software languages such as C++, XML, Python, or a related language
• Experience with the software development process in a distributed environment (supplier management, integrated testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Must be a US Citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance or better investigated within the last 6 years.
Desired Skills:
Demonstrated experience with the following:
• Extensive C++ embedded SW development
.Development of bare metal application in FPGA environment.
.Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as Wind River VxWorks or Green Hills Integrity
• Experience with Requirements Development and Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo
• Object Oriented programming and design
• The software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
• Integrating hardware and software
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Must also demonstrate the following:
• Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
• Strong decision making and judgment
• Oral and written communication skills
• Basic financial and business acumen
• Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver results for the business in partnership with program managers and other functional disciplines/organizations as needed
• Demonstrated experience using standard office software tools/solutions e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
• Ability to travel

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $120,700 – $227,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
