Overview
The Fund Analyst provides lead level financial analysis and monitoring of the City’s fund raising activities through Intergovernmental Services.
Essential Functions
Essential Functions
- Assists, supports, and facilitates the Manager in the City’s fund raising efforts, initiatives, and activities.
- Works, collaborates, and engages with City departments and private or non-profit organizations to implement approved fund raising strategies.
- Conducts donor research to identify resources and communicates research information to City departments and private or non-profit organizations that provide services to Dallas citizens.
- Writes, drafts, and edits grant proposals; prepares briefings and periodic reports to communicate goals and status of grant and fund raising activity
- Identifies and conducts grant and fundraising training for City departments, private and non-profit organizations.
- Develops and administers performance measurement system for all City fund raising activities and consistently delivers feedback on performance metrics.
- Serves as lead worker among work group.
- Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience
- 5 years in financial analysis and forecasting, grant management, or other related experience.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

- Knowledge of fundraising activities, strategies, and methods.
- Knowledge of City organization and departments.
- Knowledge of City policies and procedures related to financial management.
- Knowledge of grant applications and management.
