We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a brand new upscale restaurant concept from one of America’s most well-known celebrity chefs! As General Manager, you set the tone for guest experience, lead and mentor your teams, and hold accountabilities for the financial and operational health of the business.
- Assist company in driving the business to meet and exceed budgeted sales and stay in line with budgeted operational costs
- Maintain pre-established policies and procedures and assist in their development and evolution according to the needs of the business
- Manage team to ensure proper inventories of all wine and beverage
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop an exceptional staff to provide a superior level of hospitality
- Schedule staff to ensure that the business is appropriately prepared for service on each shift
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment for our staff and guests
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of successful General Management experience
- P&L and cost management proficiencies
- Prior experience within a high volume restaurant – preferably a steakhouse concept
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic mindset with an excellent record in restaurant management
- Strong wine and beverage operations experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow leaders, managers, employees, and all guests
- Strong problem solving skills
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed
