The Global Account Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, executive education, business transformation guidance and objectives driven management in a high-growth business partnership. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor projects and engage resources to achieve our joint business objectives. You will define and continually develop CXO relationships, engage AWS senior leadership, coordinate executive business reviews, and advance customer satisfaction.

Key job responsibilities
You will serve as the AWS primary point of contact and spokesman, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm. You will be responsible for establishing a clear technical/business vision shared by AWS and your customer. You will recommend operating models and drive cloud awareness and education across the customer’s organization. You will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests.
A day in the life
The successful candidate will be the lead seller, marketer, and leader for a high potential Healthcare Global Account, and will work closely with our Partner leadership team. The Global Account Manager will support and take responsibility for the adoption and consumption of AWS services, education and communications, and the migration of supporting ISV solutions.

The AWS WW Public Sector Health Industry Team is responsible for defining and driving execution of our healthcare strategic plan, leveraging the capabilities of the AWS cloud and a global network of AWS partners to deliver differentiated value to our healthcare customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– 10+ years of experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Proven and effective communication across internal and external organizations
– History of successful sales leadership and/or account management with large-scale customers
– Experience leading through influence across a global organization to achieve business objectives
– Experience as the primary account manager of a global, distributed enterprise
– Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, healthcare or life sciences
– Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
– Ability to navigate across AWS and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative role
– A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas,SaaS,PaaS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
