FICC and Equities Operations provides client onboarding support, post-trade transaction services and post-trade portfolio services for the Markets business. Our Client Coverage Group manages key client relationships to enhance the client experience front to back. We support the FICC and Equities businesses to develop and deliver new products, services and markets.
Asset Servicing is responsible for the management of Voluntary Income and Corporate Action events across the globe for both equity and fixed income products. The team’s role in supporting both internal and external clients throughout the lifecycle of large-scale events, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Shareholder Meetings, and Bankruptcies, provides a unique opportunity to play a part in real-time, impactful market transactions.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Answering client queries and working with relevant processing teams across global Asset Servicing to solve in a timely manner
- Direct client coverage – you will be assigned your own client relationships to manage on an ongoing basis. It is important that clients receive a consistent service from a single point of contact.
- Non-direct client coverage – you will also be assigned specific clients who are represented by other revenue divisions
- Attending external client meetings
- Running GSU classes to educate clients on Asset Servicing events
- Listening to client needs and requests and liaising with technology to implement
- Working closely with the Prime Brokerage reps and helping organize and run the annual Prime Broker Client Seminar and Networking Event
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-3 years of experience in banking, accounting, financial services or related fields
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and demonstrates accountability, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proactive, enthusiastic approach with very high attention to detail
- Highly collaborative, flexible, and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills along with the ability to use discretion and good judgment
- Excellent Client Service skills with ability to communicate complex issues to individuals with varying levels of product expertise
- Competency with MS Suite, especially Excel and the ability to learn multiple programs quickly
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $70000-$95000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
