We seek to deliver to our clients leading market insight, risk management and execution, helping them to raise money, invest, and transfer risk across financial asset classes.
Brief Role Description:
- Building and updating regional gas models in coordination with Physical gas traders and Bangalore based strat team
- Providing analysis and commentary of global natural gas and coal balances, weather forecasts, and global energy market developments
- Modeling and forecasting of supply, demand, and storage of natural gas and power in North America
- Conducting rapid analysis of market disrupting events to assist traders identify and assess the latest market risks
- Producing in-depth research that delivers market insights and help clients anticipate fundamental trends
- Optimizing analytics and ensuring data quality using Python, SQL, and Excel
Additional Qualifications:
- Undergraduate in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or other STEM related degree
- 1 to 3 years of related experience
- Superior analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
- Ability to perform under fast-paced environment with tight time constraints
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
