For an Analyst/Associate joining the NYMEX trading desk in New York. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:
- Assist the trading desk in daily operational activities like quoting bids and offers, trade bookings, risk management, and PNL reporting
- Accurately maintain fixed price and vol curves for natural gas
- Support the sales desk in pricing and executing transactions
- Maintain and build analytical and fundamental models used for analyzing and understanding the Natural Gas markets
- Assist the desk in performing scenario analyses and back tests related to natural gas calendar spreads in python
- Keeping abreast of fundamental and regulatory changes and analyzing their potential market impact
- Analyzing regional natural gas balances
- Physical natural gas market experience would be a plus

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
