The Global Business Manager role is responsible for the rhythm of the business (ROB), organizational planning, business reviews, team financial, budget planning, business forecasting and plays a key role in communications and people Work Group Health Index (WHI) initiatives. Bringing broad and deep business acumen, sound decision-making and operational excellence to bear is essential in this role. These capabilities are key for the organization to execute effectively and efficiently to deliver on strategy, core priorities and fiscal targets as measured by business satisfaction and a healthy scorecard. This position requires strong cross-group coordination and the ability to manage high impact work on short deadlines.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+years of experience creatively and strategically, integrating diverse and novel ideas into effective plans in a complex and ambiguous environment while delivering successful results across the globe.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
    • OR Master’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • High energy and a “can do” attitude, ability to motivate self and others.
    • Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment dealing with conflict and multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives.
    • Graceful and resilient under pressure, able to work independently and simultaneously across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Business Management IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 – $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 – $292,200 per year.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Financial Execution: Orchestrate the process of creating strategy with the leadership team. Organize and drive strategy, business and financial planning, organizational priorities, related team activities and related internal communications (e.g. monthly and quarterly business reviews, strategy reviews, leadership team meetings, budget planning and forecast execution). Track progress against team priorities, decisions, and action plans.

Organization Business Results & ROB: Orchestrate process for collaboration and driving efficiencies to achieve business results. Create and execute the leadership team rhythm-of-business driving decision making, continual awareness of critical issues and business results in partnership with delivery leaders, solution area teams, finance, human resources through a well-organized and productive series of meetings and reviews.

People and Culture: Orchestrate the approach and process for employee engagement signals, All Hands, HR/People and talent discussions, awards and recognition programs, GIVE, career development / mentoring and maintain organization wide Teams and SharePoint sites.

Stakeholder Relationships: Orchestrate the approach and process for strategically managing leadership team key stakeholder relationships – field, corporate and customer. Help identify stakeholders and enable leadership team to manage relationships.
