The Opportunity
Lead and manage the company’s global communications, special projects and ESG strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and profitability goals. Support all of House of Carolina Herrera (across Fashion, Beauty, Licensees) policies, objectives, and initiatives to ensure development and implementation of cohesive, innovative communications programs adhering to global brand guidelines.
What you’ll get to do
Global Communications:
-Lead communications campaigns across all media platforms (print/digital) to maximize all storytelling opportunities, collaborating with global PR agencies and in-house teams on creating launch strategies for key events and partnerships.
-Supervise and manage a global network of agencies for PR & Communication purposes to optimize retainers.
-Draft, edit, and format external and internal communications documents, including press releases, media alerts, interview requests and brand statements.
-Key pitching and liaison for feature and interview requests
-Expand awareness and story opportunities globally for brand and Creative Director
-Draft communications as required in tone and style that is on brand and elevated.
-Maintain a keen and timely understanding and relevance in industry-related matters.
-Cultivate and establish existing/new relationships with media contacts, strengthening the brand’s global media, creative and influence network.
-Support on activation strategies pertaining to VIP, influencer, and partnership relations, overseeing global VIP strategy with the Senior Manager of VIP and Communications.
-Oversee internal communications to share press and brand activity in a timely manner on brand and corporate level.
-Oversee Senior Manager, VIP and Communications as well as Logistics Manager (pertaining to sample requests for editorial, VIP and special projects).
-Support beauty, fragrance, eyewear, CH Carolina Herrera with communications strategies and global events.
-Work closely with brand partners (e.g. Licensees) to align on overall brand strategy.
-Develop, Implement, and monitor Brand-level ESG projects, coordinating with all business units (in the US and abroad) and PR teams across all Puig international markets, ensuring its implementation and compliance, and providing guidance to international markets.
Show, Events, and Pre-Collection:
-Manage production of brand events
-Develop concepts and formats directly with third-party vendors and events partners: e.g. production, florists, event producers, lighting, etc. to adhere to brand standards in order to achieve event goals within budget.
-Identify and create a seasonal invitation list for international press, VIP & influencers in partnership with global press teams.
-Liaise with external teams’ respective lists: Wholesale, Retail, International PR, Puig, Institutional, Internal Executives
-Manage scheduling during the week for show across all partners: Production, casting director, music producer, stylist, HMU, Nail Team
-Generate press release and run of show and ensure timely deployment worldwide.
Content Creation:
-Collaborate on strategies, production, and publishing content, assisting in the preparation and editing of brand interviews, scripts, announcements, newsletters, and more.
-Seek creative ways to build offline and online brand awareness, while using analytics in the formulation of this strategy.
Sample Management:
-Partner with Logistics Manager, Product Development, Design and across all teams to manage sample requests and expectations through PR and Events Manager, focusing on editorial, beauty (e.g. Fragrance campaign shoot) and VIP requests.
Reporting:
-Oversee communications portion of weekly Marketing and Communications report, Monthly Global Press report, Post-Show/ event attendance report and recaps, bi-yearly global press review and presentations to Senior Leadership Team.
-Work alongside the insights team (Digital Department) and use our social listening tools to identify and build an understanding of our audiences and trends.
We’d love to meet you if you have
-Self Motivated, creative and resourceful individual with deep understanding of global press and fashion creative landscape and an innate sense of luxury storytelling extending to beauty and fragrance.
-Confident and comfortable to represent the brand internally and externally to key stakeholders and partners.
-Minimum 5-7 years experience in marketing and communications, preferably in ready-to-wear or accessories luxury industry.
-College education required
-Strong communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills; able to work as a team, keen multitasker who can spearhead projects on their own with accountability.
-Strong computer skills (MS Office, Fashion GPS, Lefty, Adobe Acrobat is a plus but not required)
-Budget/ revenue management experience preffered.
-Proactive, energetic, curious out-of-the-box thinker with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
-Strong organizational and analytical skills

Compensation
For individuals contracted and/or hired to work in New York, Carolina Herrera includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $125,000 USD to $140,000 USD.
