The EA Communications team builds meaningful relationships with hundreds of millions of players around the world who love EA SPORTS games. The Global Community Specialist for the EA SPORTS Portfolio team will support a multi-channel communications team focused on EA SPORTS UFC, NHL, PGA TOUR and Super Mega Baseball and other EA SPORTS games and projects. You will work with the EA SPORTS communications teams across multiple disciplines, including core community, social and owned channels, influencer marketing and earned media.

Reporting to the Core Community Manager on the EA SPORTS Portfolio team, you will develop trust with EA SPORTS players through transparent and purposeful communications. You will be on core community, social channels and influencer marketing, including direct-to-player communication such as blogs and live streams, serving as the conduit between players and our development teams through Design Councils, building social channel activations, sentiment reporting and partnering with the earned media team to ensure accurate messaging. As the Global Community Specialist, you will work with team members on the Communications team and Brand teams as part of the full marketing strategy for EA SPORTS UFC, NHL, PGA TOUR and Super Mega Baseball.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with the Community Manager to help define the global community strategies to build communities for EA SPORTS NHL, UFC and PGA
  • Execute on the community strategies with the Community Manager and with the Integrated Communications Director
  • Collaborate with other managers across PR, Creator and Social teams to ensure execution of the tactics/campaign beats
  • Develop relationships with Core Creators and Influencers, partnering with Brand, Creative and partner agencies on the Creator strategy for the product(s)
  • Create community feedback/sentiment reports for comms, brand and studio teams
  • Organize and moderate Design Councils to deliver audience-relevant feedback to studio, brand and comms teams

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Community Management or related field
  • Passion for gaming and an understanding of player motivations and needs
  • Self-starter who is a collaborator and is naturally inclined to present creative solutions
  • Comfortable working with competing priorities without compromising work results
  • Abillity to create written content in English
  • Work with remote colleagues and across many different departments within the company and across the globe.
  • Knowledge of EA’s sports portfolio, EA SPORTS NHL, UFC and PGA TOUR

CONTRACT POSITION – 12 MONTHS COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.The hourly pay ranges represent in good faith what you can expect to be paid for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $32 – $35
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $26 – $28
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $32 – $35
• Jersey City, NJ:° $28 – $32
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $23 – $26
