Essential Job Functions:
- Network administration of global network operations and communications
- Manage and coordinate with network and communications providers globally
- Manage network-monitoring tools insuring high levels of availability of the network.
- Write, review, and/or maintain technical documentation for administration tasks and for installation and configuration of software and hardware
- Primary administrator for all Cisco Unified Communications management to all global offices
- Responsible for diligently adhering to Change Management processes
- Performs on call and emergency support to ensure high availability of critical IT services.
- Provide 3rd level support for all network related issues
- Recommend, develop and implement process improvements;
- Participate in architectural design
- Must be able to travel on a limited basis(domestic and international), typically less than 5%
Position Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years with Cisco enterprise class network switch administration (Catalyst and Nexus)
- 5+years with Cisco Call Manager systems administration
- 5+ years with Cisco Firewall administration
- 3+years with Cisco Prime Infrastructure
- 3+years with Cisco Call Center applications (UCCX)
- 3+ years with storage networking
- Must have enterprise level experience in complex high availability environments
- Must have enterprise level experience in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP and EIGRP) and backbone connectivity in a multi-homed configuration
- Familiarity with administering virtualized infrastructure using VMware vSphere 4.x/5.x and vCenter
- Knowledge of industry standard network monitoring tools.
- Strong problem solving and logic skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Knowledge in all Microsoft office applications required
Communications Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills required
- Ability to work on projects in team setting
- Ability to communicate program standards and requirements to contractors
- Ability to communicate and work with end users with minimal computer experience
- Good business writing skills required
- Technical Software Documentation skills required
Pay Range: $122k – $162k
