Position Title: Manager I, Global Sourcing (IC)

Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing
Electronic Arts Inc (EA) is looking for a Manager I, Global Strategic Sourcing, with experience in facilitating market due diligence by leading competitive bid processes and driving commercial contract negotiations. You will have experience driving internal business partner engagement, demonstrated strategic thought processes, development of sourcing strategies, RFx, and contract negotiations.
This is a permanent position and is an individual contributor role in the Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team that is in North America, preferably in Austin TX, Seattle WA, Orlando FL, Vancouver BC, Toronto ON or Montreal QC. You will primarily source activities in partnership with EA’s Marketing organization. However, you may work with a variety of other internal teams including IT, Real Estate, Facilities (Workplace & Employee Services), Studios, and Competitive Gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive multiple complex sourcing initiatives simultaneously.
- Listen to our internal partner requirements, advise them on best practice, prepare and drive negotiation strategies.
- Organize multiple business partners and support teams to effectively engage suppliers and complete transactions.
- Increase value through direct negotiation and other sourcing methods with important suppliers.
- Partner with and influence business partner departments and build successful relationships.
- Assist business partners as they manage on-going supplier relationships.
- Work with internal subject matter experts (e.g., Legal, Tax, Security) to create contract structures which maximize EA’s return for current and long-term supplier relationships.
- Incorporate EA’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) best practices for Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement into negotiation strategies and best practices.
- Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
- Understand business needs and requirements so that agreement terms are complete, scalable and cost-effective.
- Participate in GSS team development projects to improve sourcing experience across EA.

- Communicator. Deliver concise and clear email communications, explain complex business agreements with well-constructed summaries, and lead supplier negotiations.
- Facilitator. Address and confront difficult realities in a positive and constructive manner. Including partnering with others to schedule, manage, and perform numerous projects in parallel.
- Value Driver. Demonstrate experience increasing value with supplier. For example, familiarity with the terms and deal structures which promote or ensure delivery of services, reduce risk and drive best value.
- RF(x) Project Manager. Prepare RFI/RFQ/RFP documents with requesting departments, evaluating proposals, and assisting in the selection of bidders.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 Years relevant Strategic Sourcing or Procurement Experience.
Experience with indirect spend such as technology, marketing or facilities.
Experience working within a US or European multinational company and remote teams.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
° $95,450 – $141,800
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
° $89,200 – $141,800
• Jersey City, NJ:
° $105,250 – $141,800
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
° $89,200 – $118,550
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
° $89,200 – $130,750
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.”
