SAP PGT is the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system which will modernize the data foundations upon which all other systems interact with, enabling us to retire hundreds of legacy systems and unlock next-gen technology to underpin future advanced capabilities that we can’t leverage today with legacy systems.
PGT TPM is being actively deployed in nine countries around the world as of April 2023, including three live markets (Australia-New Zealand (ANZ), Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg (BNL), the UK, Poland, PBNA, and FLNA (Q3 ’23) and intermediate plans in Q4 ’23+ for Quaker and Gatorade North America, and will continue to move forward with future road map international markets to be named later. The GPL for Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) will play a role in all deployments and will have greater leadership in Optimization and Analytics aspects of the deployments.

Responsibilities
As the Global Process Lead (GPL) The GPL for TPO is accountable for defining the integrated optimization processes for Trade Promotion Management in close partnership with the CTO Data and Analytics, Revenue Management, Sales Finance and Account Management business teams. Supports the Trade Promotion Management GPL (“Product Owner” (Agile)) for TPM’s Reporting and Analytics platforms, the solution for SAP’s Advance Trade Management Analytics (ATMA), and for the integration of other Trade Promotion Optimization systems into the end-to-end process(es). Provides business knowledge to enable common, global processes, global data, global reporting and analytics, and support the delivery of the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT) solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Product Owner for the end-to-end Trade Promotion Optimization solutions being delivered.
- Provide the program teams with business knowledge necessary to enable common, global business processes, data, reporting and analytics.
- Build an understanding of existing TPO processes and capabilities across PepsiCo
- Support the delivery of the PGT’s current and future TPO tools across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors
- Deliver the PGT business processes and solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors.
- Drive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the IT Solution Architects and business partner leaders.
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners and other GPLs on issue resolution and process design recommendations. Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process “choice points” to Global Process Owners.
- Co-innovate the future PGT TPO roadmap with SAP to ensure PepsiCo’s global needs are supported, such as enabling cannibalization and addling new elements to improve forecast prediction accuracy
- Partner with deployment teams to lead the knowledge transfer of the TPM solution
- Lead the development of any necessary new analytics and business KPIs requirements
CRITICAL WIRING:
- Work closely with the Business Analytic and Optimization leads for the individual BU/Country/Sector deployment TPM teams.
- Works closely with the TPM Global Process Owner & Lead, TPM and Analytic Global Solutions Design Owners
- Will interact with and present to the SVP/Global Process Executive, the VP & SVP/Global Solutions Design Executive, SVP Global NRM lead, and various senior level executives at the BU/Country/Sector level.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 106,300- $177,850.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep understanding of all customer growth management activities to drive volume, net revenue, and margin. Promotional calendar building and trade terms planning to maximize returns on customer investment and achieve both customer and PepsiCo targets.
- Deep expertise and understanding of all activities to combine pricing, volume, margin, assortment, promotions, mix management, price elasticity, and trade terms planning across different go to market models and lines of business to maximize returns on customer investment to balance out promotional and non-promotional activities aligning to both customer and PepsiCo targets.
- Experience with analytics in legacy systems, Power BI, Essbase or Analysis for Office, Business Objects, and Pre and Post event promotion analysis reporting
- Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes
- Ability to influence and work through others in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences.
- Intellectually curious and able to deliver high quality outcomes under tight timelines.
LOCATION:
- Location-free, though with a preference to be based in a PepsiCo North America HQ like Plano, Chicago, NYC area, or Toronto.
RELOCATION:
- Not eligible for relocation.
TRAVEL:
- This role has global responsibility and as such some travel is required, up to 25%. Locations may include, but are not limited to, current and planned deployment areas such as the Plano, TX, Purchase, NY, Chicago, IL, and Internationally.
