Governance and Program Lead

The Governance & Program Lead will be a part of the MT SC Digital Transformation organization, a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 40+ major global MT ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data], and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance.

The candidate will be responsible to Implement and lead Governance process across the multiples deployment/waves under MT Transcend umbrella across global pillars and project teams.

The role will be responsible for driving end to end adherence to MT TranSCend methodology including the definition and management of project tools, team training, health platform metrics and continuous improvement process. This role will define actions and will collaborate with x-functional members to drive execution.

The candidate will also provide support for overall project planning, project management, risk management, resource management, stage gate readiness, and ensuring appropriate project management tools are implemented and utilized downstream in any future deployments/waves.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage Key Performance Indicators – Project Platform Health Metrics.
• Manage, Stand up, Core Team and PMO meetings and project reporting.
• Build awareness of critical issues and hold teams accountable to deliver against critical tasks with a focus Main project health metrics
• Effectively coordinate priorities and activities across the different deployments/wave
• Effective and transparent communication towards PMO on status / results and make risks clear where appropriate
• Drive implementation of program methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence. Leverage and scale existing assets and best practices, ways of working.
• Manage cross-program interdependencies, conflicts, and challenges by working with respective stakeholders to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations.
• Drive best practices, scale, leveragability, and resource optimization.
• Enthusiastically seek to promote standard methodology and continuous improvement principles across Functional system deployments
• Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level MT stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred

Required:
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience
• Program Management experience on large complex business transformation programs
• Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result
• People management and development experience
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strength in interdependent partnering and team management
• The ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and change management
• Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms
• Ability to embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement and value creation across the business

Preferred:
• Exposure to Agile Framework Methodology concepts and Jira tool knowledge
• Experience in Key Performance Indicators development, monitoring and tracking
• Knowledge of Medical Devices Supply Chain or Commercial Operations
• Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders
• Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.)

Other:
• Requires Travel: up to 25% domestic and international
• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000-$148,000/yr.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
