A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field of study from an accredited college or university is preferred.
Requirements:
- Three (3) or more years of professional experience in disbursements (accounts payable)
- Purchasing Card experience in Works
- Experience using Microsoft platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Additional preference:
- Professional experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, and agency policies
The base annual salary for this position is $48,876.48.
This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to train employees in accomplishing the objectives of the Electronic Commerce Section. Knowledge and application of accounting and auditing principles and procedures. Ability to identify, analyze and review accounting systems requirements, to identify and define user task needs to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize and assisting in coordinating work assignments, to work independently, to establish and maintain effective relationships with others, to communicate technical information verbally and in writing, provide direction for processing and handling electronic commerce transactions. Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data, solve problems, document workflow. Ability to organize data into logical format for reports, documents, and written materials. Conduct fact-finding research. Ability to use appropriate software and mainframe tools, develop queries, understand, interpret, and apply warehouse data, perform mathematical calculations. Ability to understand and assess internal controls in manual and automated systems, identify appropriate areas for improvement and communicate findings accurately and effectively. Ability to identify, analyze and review accounting systems requirements, identify, and define user task needs.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This is a Government Analyst II position within the Enterprise Purchasing Card Administrator’s team. This position will conduct post-audits of PCard charges, monitor the use of the Works system, review Agency PCard plans, and respond to agency requests related to PCard charges.
