Grants Writer

Our client, a community-based organization , is seeking a Grants Writer to support their organization by governing and coordinating fundraising events. This is a direct hire role that has a 5-day in office work schedule with the potential of 1 day remote. The role is offering $70k – $80k based on experience. Job Duties: Develop and maintain, steward and solicit a portfolio comprising of up to 125 prospective/current funders Compose and edit LOIs, concept notes, proposals, presentations, budgets, reports, and briefings Foster relationships with foundation and corporate officers Organize and manage multi-year grants calendar, including a prospecting schedule Identify qualifying funders through outreach to prospects, building pipelines Maintain Raiser’s Edge profile, including funder notes and records Supervise reporting and pledge payment schedules for any active grants Candidate profile and qualifications: Experience: 2+ years in grant writing, portfolio development, proposal creation, solicitation and stewarding Proficient in: Customizing LOIs Grant proposals Creating presentations budgets, reports, and briefings Raiser’s Edge is a plus Soft Skills: appreciation for multiculturalism, interpersonal skills Education: BA preferred; 5 years of additional experience can compensate Proof of vaccination against Covid-19: Required, including at least 1 booster Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
