Graphic Design/Multimedia Line Manager

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops visually engaging multimedia content for client websites, applications, and marketing materials, including graphic design and print design support.
  • Determines the most suitable formats and delivery methods for desired performance (static or interactive graphics, animations, video, front-end web development, printed collateral, or other visual solutions).
  • Creates and develops comprehensive design materials, such as logos, branding elements, brochures, posters, banners, business cards, and packaging, in accordance with client and project requirements.
  • Ensures consistency with design principles, usability requirements, and visual aesthetics while adhering to print production standards and guidelines. Transforms written content or client specifications into interactive, visually appealing multimedia and print designs. Plans, storyboards, multimedia projects, and print design layouts to effectively convey the desired message.
  • Develops high-quality multimedia assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD).
  • Creates visually captivating and sound designs across various media formats, including print-ready files and pre-press checks for optimal print quality.
  • Collaborates with clients, subject matter experts, and print vendors to ensure multimedia and print design content’s technical accuracy, visual appeal, and production readiness.
  • Reviews and evaluates materials during development to ensure alignment with design principles, industry standards, and client specifications while considering color profiles, typography, image resolution, and print finishing techniques.
  • Actively stays up-to-date with the latest graphic design and print design trends, technologies, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge, creative solutions to clients.
  • Supervises and implements graphic design or multimedia elements that are part of large-scale marketing, advertising and creative campaigns.
  • Manages experienced professionals who exercise significant latitude and independence.
  • Plans, conducts and supervises assignments, generally involving larger and more important projects or multiple projects.
  • Evaluates and determines changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility. Determines candidates for employment/termination, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies.

Qualifications

  • Requires a BS 12-15, MS 10-13, or a Phd with 10+ years of experience
  • Requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph

Target Salary Range

$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
